Short version: seven days to change your mind, and cancelling is always one click.
Any payment can be refunded in full within 7 days.
You do not need a reason. Open the support chat or email support with the address you paid from, and the money goes back to the card it came from. Card refunds usually land in five to ten business days, which is your bank's timing rather than mine.
After 7 days a payment cannot be refunded. That applies to every plan, monthly and yearly, and it applies however the payment came about — including a free trial that converted. The seven days run from the date of the payment, not from when you last used the software.
The reason for a firm line: these are downloadable tools that work on your machine, and every buyer has a free demo and a three-day trial available before paying. If a week has passed, you have had the software.
Cancelling is separate from refunding, and it is available always.
Cancelling stops every future charge immediately. You keep using the tools until the period you already paid for runs out — a month or a year — and nothing is taken again.
Cancel during a free trial and you are never charged at all.
A tool that will not install, a key that will not activate, or a Machine ID that changed after a Windows update is a support problem, not a refund problem, and it is nearly always fixed the same day. Reissuing a key for a new Machine ID is free and always will be.
Try the support chat first — it answers most of these instantly. If it cannot, a person picks it up.
If you think something has gone wrong, please ask before disputing the charge with your bank. A dispute takes weeks, costs both of us, and there is nothing I can do to speed it up once it starts. Almost everything is quicker to just fix.
