Watch where the label goes. It tracks the close of the most recent bar as price moves and counts down to the second — then resets the instant a new bar opens. No hunting the corner of the screen.

Where your eyes already are

It sits just to the right of the newest bar at the current price, not pinned in a corner. When you're watching the close of a setup, the clock is right there in the same glance.

Feed time, not PC time

It takes its reference from your data feed's own timestamps and advances smoothly between ticks. If your computer clock drifts a couple of seconds — and they all do — the countdown doesn't drift with it.

Smooth in dead markets

Most countdowns only update when a tick arrives, so in a quiet hour they freeze and then jump. This one repaints four times a second regardless, so the seconds actually tick.

Honest rounding

A fresh one-minute bar reads 01:00, not 01:02, and it hits 00:00 exactly at the close. Rounding the wrong way is how people end up entering a second late on a strategy that needs the close.

Runs in Market Replay

It follows the playback clock during replay, so practice sessions behave exactly like live ones. Rehearse the close-entry timing without risking anything.

Yours to style

Font size, colour, background opacity, how far right of the bar it sits, and minutes-only or minutes-and-seconds. It also stays on screen when you scroll or zoom rather than sliding off the edge.

If you enter on confirmed closes, the last ten seconds of a bar are the whole trade. That's when a candle that looked like a rejection turns into a continuation, and when the setup you were about to take stops being a setup.

On tick, volume or range bars there is no meaningful time remaining, so it shows two dashes rather than inventing a number.

Questions

Which chart types does it work on?

Any intraday time-based chart — seconds, minutes, hours. On tick, volume or range bars it shows "--", because time remaining has no meaning there.

Why does the position matter that much?

Because a corner label costs you a glance away from price at the exact moment price matters most. Sitting beside the newest bar at the current price, it's inside the same look.

What if my computer clock is off?

It doesn't matter. The countdown is anchored to your data feed's timestamps, not Windows. That's the main reason this exists rather than any free countdown script.

Can I run it with the other tools?

Yes — it's a separate indicator and coexists with the Order Panel, the Signal Engine and the News Notifier on the same chart. All-Access covers all four on two machines.

Will it slow my chart down?

No. It draws one small label in Direct2D and repaints four times a second.
