What it actually does

Four jobs, one panel — the morning read, the news watch, the risk check, and the verdict.

Seven timeframes, read at once

4H, 1H, 45m, 30m, 15m, 5m and 1m each run their own EMA structure test plus Kaufman's efficiency ratio, so a move is labelled trending or just chopping. Higher timeframes carry more weight in the composite — the 4H counts eight times what the 1m does.

A live wire, not just a calendar

Real-time headlines polled continuously and ranked by keyword — Fed, CPI, payrolls, tariffs, missiles, downgrades. Scheduled data is only half the risk; the half that wrecks accounts is the headline nobody had on the calendar.

The calendar, counting down

Next releases for the currencies you care about, colour-coded high / medium / low, each with a live countdown. High-impact events fire an alert at your chosen lead time — fifteen minutes by default.

Volatility state

Current ATR against its own 50-period average, so you're told Low, Normal, Elevated or HIGH instead of guessing. The same move means different things at half normal range and at double it.

Reversal risk, as a number

How stretched price is from its mean in ATR units, momentum exhaustion from RSI, and where you sit in the recent range all combine into one percentage with a direction. At 65% and climbing into a high, chasing is the expensive option.

One verdict on top

Everything above collapses into a single line: OK — LONG BIAS, WAIT, CAUTION, or STAND ASIDE, always with the reason. When the answer is stand aside, it says so in red and tells you why.

The part that saves accounts

Most traders don't blow up from bad entries. They blow up from good entries taken thirty seconds before a headline nobody warned them about.

This runs a stand-aside window after every high-impact headline — three minutes by default, adjustable. During it the verdict is red and the reason says news just hit, let it settle. It does the same before scheduled data. You can override it; you just can't say you didn't know.

There's a noise filter underneath, too. Left unfiltered a live wire is a firehose of headlines about things that will never move NQ. Switch on ES/NQ-relevant only and you get US macro, the Fed, the indices, the mega-caps and genuine risk-off events — the rest never reaches your screen.

And if you're watching the chart rather than the panel, it can read new headlines out loud through Windows speech. You hear "high impact" and the headline while your eyes stay on price.

Where do the headlines come from?

A real-time newswire feed, polled on your chosen interval. You can point it at a different RSS feed in the settings if you prefer another source.

Where does the economic calendar come from?

A calendar file in your NinjaTrader folder — it reads the common weekly JSON format or any CSV with date, time, currency, impact and event columns. There's an opt-in auto-download for the weekly feed, cached so it refreshes every few hours rather than hammering the source.

Does it place or close trades?

No. It reads and it warns. Every decision stays yours. Pair it with the Order Panel if you want the execution side handled too.

What chart do I put it on?

Any. The timeframe biases come from data series it loads itself, not from your chart, so it reads the same on a 30-second chart as on a daily. Load enough history for the 4H series to fill in.

Will it slow NinjaTrader down?

No. Render resources are cached, the panel content rebuilds a few times per second instead of on every tick, and the structure math is throttled — the same optimizations the Order Panel runs.

Does the voice work on any Windows PC?

Yes, it uses the speech engine already built into Windows. It's off by default — switch it on in the settings.
