Installing a Precision indicator

Seven steps, about two minutes. The one people get wrong is step 3, so it has its own warning.

You need the platform itself before step 1 — a Precision indicator is an add-on that runs inside it, not a program of its own. The download is free and a simulated account costs nothing, which is enough to install this, drag it onto a chart and click around before any real money is involved.

If it still will not appear

The indicator is not in my list after importing

Restart NinjaTrader — the list only refreshes on restart. If it is still missing, the import probably failed silently because the zip was unzipped first. Re-download and import the zip untouched.

I get a compile error when importing

That is almost always another add-on on your PC that already had errors — NinjaTrader refuses to import anything while any custom script is broken. Open New, NinjaScript Editor, press F5, and the error list names the file at fault. Fix or remove that one and the import will go through.

The indicator says UNLICENSED on my chart

There is no valid key in its settings. The Machine ID it needs is printed right there on the chart — copy it, activate at My Account, and paste the key into 0. License.

It says my key is not valid for this machine

The key was minted for a different Machine ID. Usually the ID changed, or the key came from another PC. Re-activate in My Account with the ID the indicator is printing right now and you get a fresh key free.
